her journey

we decided together to document her journey through cancer. it's a huge chapter in her life and one that she will turn the pages from someday and see a remarkable woman who beat this ugly disease in such a determined and graceful way. i'm in awe of her daily. she's been so strong since the day she was dealt this trial. she has been nothing but positive and has a continuous smile on her face. she is such a beautiful example of strength and determination. two surgeries down, the start of chemo, radiation, more surgery to come and the words i still hear her say, "Bring it". love this girl. big. huge. thank you to Jess for helping me shoot these images. in your debt good friend.

If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or fight like hell! I hope you fight like hell! And I hope more than anything that you win this fight. Cheering and praying for you from the sidelines.
